This is the pantry in the corner of the kitchen. The main color in the kitchen is a tan color, as you can see. We did the pantry walls in a "hot red pepper" color, which we also have on another wall on the living room side. The trim everywhere is black.The question is - do we paint the pantry door tan, red, or black? All you create home decorators - what would you do??
ps. Cabinets will go on the left and the fridge on the right. FYI

my vote would be either white or tan. what color are the rest of your doors throughout the house? it seems the black or red would make it all too dark, but i don't know...
Every door is a stained wood color as is all the trim and floor boards. But they will all change as we paint each room differently. The interior side of the front door is some weird bluish color which matches nothing. We were going to paint that too.
I think I would leave it the way it is. As Sally said, red or black is too much darkness and when I picture tan in my mind it doesn't seem quite right either. So I would leave it.
I vote leave it white. If you end up changing the other doors in the house you can always paint it later. When in doubt, live with it for a while. Once everything in the kitchen is done, and you've been living with it, you'll know if it goes or not! ...Loving it all, by the way! It's going to be beautiful!
I can't leave it. It's just a primed-ready-to-paint door from Home Depot. It's not a color yet. Besides, that color doesn't match anything in the kitchen!
I really like white trims and white doors personally. I would also personally pick white trim with a white door that is mostly glass, but frosted glass... that always looks really pretty!

If it were my kitchen I would paint it tan. The same as the walls. Love your color choices!!
